ITEMS OF HISTORICAL SIGNIFICANCE

The DHS is always looking for contributions of artifacts representing our local history. We are limited in what we are able to accept and care for so all items must be assessed prior to our taking on their care. Please DO NOT leave items on our front porch!

If you have items you would like to donate, please let us know and we will be in touch. Call Sue Pearson at 607-746-2898 or email This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..

VOLUNTEER

Each year the Delhi Historical Society

  • Prepares and displays exhibits for display the Cannon House.
  • Hosts Tuesday evening programs at the Cannon Free Library.
  • Has group work sessions to do the work of collection stewardship – assessing, documenting, storing archivally, preparing for exhibits, etc.

We are looking for docents to help at events and archivists to help with the collection. We will provide training and will also develop curricula for any local students interested in an internship.
