Saturday, May 4, 11am Cannon House
Delhi College architectural students who are Professor Lisa Tessier’s students have picked several homes and structures in the village to research. They will take us on a walking tour and will describe each structure. They will be pointing out architectural highlights and general information about each one.

Our guest speaker will be Chuck (“Big Chuck” from the radio) D’Imperio, from Oneonta. He will be talking about his recent book, “Upstate Uncovered”. It will be a very interesting and entertaining evening - 100 unique, unusual and overlooked destinations in upstate New York.

Today will be the John Bramley Collection Day. John will be displaying his various collections and they will be very unusual as they have been collected over a long period of years.

Our guests, “4 Ever Young”, will be singing a cappella harmony from the 50’s and 60’s. There are 4 members who have been singing together for five years and have 105 years of barbershop experience among them.

Our guest will be Tim Duerden, the director of The Delaware County Historical Association and he will be giving a power point presentation of his book, “Lewis Hine: Photographer and American Progressive”. Lewis Hine’s photographs of children at work in cotton mills and coalmines sparked the movement to end child labor.

Ray LaFever, archivist at The Delaware County Historical Association, will be presenting a new film on Delhi photographer, Bob Wyer. There will be interviews with people sharing their memories and photos taken over his long career.

This will be the Bill Cash Collection Day. Bill will display several of his collections that he inherited from his dad, Bill, and several collections of his own. This should be a very interesting and special exhibit.

Ed Kruser, former history teacher from Delaware Academy, will be sharing his information and knowledge of “Rafting on the Delaware”. He is a wonderful speaker and it will be a very interesting and informative evening.

Ryan Trapani, director of forest services for the Catskill Forest Association, will discuss the impact of the hemlock bark tanning industry on Catskill communities and forests. He’ll discuss how he uses hemlock bark in his hobby for converting deerskins into leather.
